Carlson Design Group is actively seeking an experienced and registered Electrical Engineer to join our team and lead projects for our expanding business.

You can work from any of our enterprise office locations in Peachtree Corners, GA;
Detroit, MI;
Charlotte, NC; or Tampa, FL.

• Plan and develop medium‑to‑large scope unique projects with many complexities that significantly impact major company programs.
• Execute: coordinate projects and oversee a large staff of engineers, designers, and associates.
• Major project responsibility:
  Serve as licensed professional and Engineer of Record.
• Provide technical design support by preparing schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications in compliance with program and building design directions.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration and ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience, including low and medium voltage design experience.
• Experience leading and executing projects independently from handoff.
• Competency in AutoCAD and Revit.

• Mission critical or industrial engineering experience.
• Experience preparing Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis.
• Ability to solve problems and innovate.
