TSMC Arizona is looking for a Life Safety Construction Engineer to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s Construction Department is responsible for engineering and construction spanning all disciplines including CSA (Civil Structural, Architectural), MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Process), and specialty systems (gas & chemical delivery systems, clean room systems, ultra-pure water systems, wastewater treatment, etc.).
Job Description
:
Your main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for leading the safety teams of our construction partners and ensuring safety compliance across all general contractors.
- Maintaining reporting on safety related metrics.
- Coordinating safety issues across multiple departments.
- Interface with internal ISEP Environmental Health and Safety department for construction related impacts.
- Single point of contact for Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH)
Minimum Qualifications
:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- Associate's degree in occupational health/safety or related field is required.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health/safety or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of industry experience in construction safety.
- Familiarity with City of Phoenix safety code and amendments is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated familiarity with work management systems.
- Action and results oriented with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive communication with diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time in a cleanroom suit when necessary.
