Manufacturing Engineer II (Silent-Aire) Who We Are

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing processes and methods required for a premier HVAC manufacturing facility. Key duties include overseeing and managing large capital projects that increase plant capacity, reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce job hazards, and/or improve product quality. You will develop and implement manufacturing engineering department standards and policies, and provide training, coaching, and support across the organization.

How

You Will Do It
  • Process engineering change requests.
  • Troubleshoot production problems.
  • Assist in trouble‑shooting assembly and fabrication equipment.
  • Optimize workstation layout.
  • Justify, specify, and manage capital projects and equipment.
  • Introduce new products (BOM scrubbing, manufacturing trial lots, assist in training, and work with design engineering on production issues related to design for manufacturing).
  • Create and maintain bill of materials and routings for assembly and fabrication.
  • Support and/or lead lean projects.
  • Set operational objectives and deliver results that directly impact operational goals.
  • Define and explain practices, standards, and policies to internal stakeholders.
  • Adapt or enhance quality or value in existing methods as part of day‑to‑day activities.
Required – What We Look For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related manufacturing discipline.
  • At least 6+ years of manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering experience.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation design).
  • Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline, integrating theory and principles with organizational practices.
