Basic Qualifications

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company seeks an Aircraft Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support F‑35 squadrons at Luke Air Force Base, AZ. The role will directly interact with U.S. Air Force and allied air forces, providing on‑site maintenance and modification support.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Nose‑to‑Tail (NTT) FSE, you will be a subject‑matter expert in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) and an emerging authority in APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures. You will troubleshoot and analyze MS, VS, or SLO issues, serving as the technical interface between Lockheed Martin and on‑site customer personnel.
Additional Responsibilities- Resolve maintenance and modification issues for all F‑35 aircraft matters.
- Deploy as required to the Continental United States (CONUS), Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), and hazardous duty locations.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form within a team environment, interacting with customer personnel at all levels.
- Support assigned site on aircraft ground maintenance and operational limitations, providing on‑site assistance as requested by customer, site manager, or program management.
- Manage and track multiple engineering and logistics support activities, reporting status to customer and program management.
- Maintain final Secret Security Clearance and United States citizenship status.
- Experience communicating with military leadership teams and senior leaders.
- Fault isolation and problem analysis at the sub‑system level.
- Technical report writing skills.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as FSE Vision/VAST, PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS, and CRE.
- Experience partnering with USAF and partner air force military operational units.
