Energy Storage Project Engineer; Tonopah, AZ

This role will assist the Project Manager in the administration and coordination of daily operations of Energy Storage System (BESS) projects on site. The Engineer will help ensure a safe, quality, and timely completion of the projects while managing quality documentation and supply‑chain logistics.

• Lead the implementation of the project quality plan.
• Provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with the project team.
• Perform document control functions during project execution, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Interpret project plans, specifications and details for subcontractors and craft persons.
• Coordinate delivery logistics with vendors, track onsite material and maintain timely delivery status.
• Collect, maintain, and submit project closeout documentation.
• Ensure all drawing redlines are captured accurately and develop record drawings for owner submission.
• Engage peers, managers, and SOLV Energy partners to share lessons learned and propose improvements.
• Compare detailed project design parameters and component quantities with the estimate; report deviations to the Project Manager and Design Lead.
• Enforce a safety culture by implementing SOLV standards and OSHA policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Support the site management team in promoting company values and professionalism.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Independent problem‑solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Prior experience with project documentation/quality control and supply chain management.

Requires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 50+ lbs. Occasional climbing, carrying, and proximity to moving mechanical parts. Works in high exposed places and under varying environmental conditions.

Salary range: $74,124.00 – $92,655.00 per annum.
