you will do
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing processes and methods required for a premier HVAC manufacturing facility. Key duties include leading and/or participating on projects that increase plant capacity, reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce job hazards, and /or improve product quality.
How you will do it- Process engineering change requests.
- Troubleshoot production problems.
- Assist in trouble-shooting assembly and fabrication equipment.
- Optimize work-station layout.
- Justify, specify, and install equipment.
- Introduce new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, Assist in Training, and work with Design Engineering on production issues related to Design for Manufacturing).
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication).
- Support and/or lead Lean projects.
- Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing discipline - 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience
- Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation design
