Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 per year.

This permanent, full‑time role is for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager at an employee‑owned full‑service electrical contracting firm that has recently doubled in size. The position involves managing large electrical projects (>$10M) and a portfolio of approximately $100M.

Job Details

Senior Electrical Project Manager responsible for managing all phases of electrical projects from conception to completion. This includes planning, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with regulations, mitigating risks, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

Managing all phases of electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Preparing and reviewing project plans, specifications, and contracts.

Coordinating with other team members and departments to ensure integration.

Providing technical guidance and expertise to team members.

Overseeing project design, development, and testing processes.

Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.

Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.

Providing electrical estimating services to support bidding and cost control.

Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management within the electrical and commercial construction industry.

Proven experience in electrical estimating.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards.

Proficiency in project management software.

Excellent leadership and team‑management skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.

Professional Engineer (PE) designation is a plus.
