Sr. Applications Engineer

Job Summary:

MPS is looking for an Application Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line, focused on solving customers’ challenges in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and doing our part to ensure a sustainable/greener tomorrow.

As a part of the team, you will be focused on developing cutting edge reference designs, testing the latest BMS ASIC, and generating collateral such as datasheets/application notes/ISO
26262 documentation, as well as providing application customer support. This is a great opportunity where your success is only limited by your creativity.

Essential functions:

• Provide onsite support of key customers design and testing.
• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to enhance and debug analog IC products.
• Develop application reference circuits.
• Write datasheets, application notes, design notes.
• Provide application support for key customers and field application engineers

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with general analog blocks such as ADCs, DACs, operational amplifiers, LDOs, DCDC.
• Experience with BMS or high voltage applications is preferred
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• MSEE or higher required
