Senior Accountant
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Hybrid position
Salary range: 70 - 100k +bonus
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate detailed financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts.
- General ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Responsible for AP check runs and 1099's
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3+years of experience in accounting
- Experience using Net Suite Software required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP) a must!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
