Loan Processor
This position processes files assigned from the loan officers in a timely manner and monitors file status and potential problems. This position maintains contact with loan officers, realtors, and customers on file.
Primary Duties:
- Maintain proper status on loan files assigned.
- Review all VOE, VOD, VOR-M, Appraisals, Title Commitments, Credit Reports, and other credit documentation for accuracy and to correct any problems on these documents as soon as possible.
- Work with the officers to prepare and submit a complete file to underwriting.
- Work with the title company to set closing and to gather payoffs as needed on files.
- Alert officers of potential problems on files and discuss these with the officers.
- Monitor and report to the manager the performance and activities of the officers. If disagreement occurs on a file on how to handle the situation the processor shall consult the manager.
- Keep abreast of FHA, VA, RD and Conventional guidelines as received.
- Have a complete file for shipping and funding a loan.
- Aid the shipping and funding departments as requested by the manager. Will assist as needed to resolve problems on files delivered.
- Work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled. The work schedule for regularly scheduled full time employees is no more than forty hours per week.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.

- Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information.
- Prompt and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
- Minimum of two years of Loan Servicing or Real Estate Processing experience preferred.
- Good computer and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to manage time and work under deadlines and pressure.
- Ability to work with people and maintain composure.
