Position: Float Client Relationship Consultant 4 (Banker) - Higley & Michelle - Gilbert, AZ

Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adopting a digital first mindset. They assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, gather and process account information, demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.

They proactively reach out, follow up, and learn about clients’ financial needs and banking channel preferences. They maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings, and provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. They develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners, open new accounts, complete service requests, submit credit applications, and educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services.

They leverage technology to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.

• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs and recommend suitable solutions.

• Open new consumer and business accounts, process basic transactions, and submit credit applications.

• Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit, loan, and digital products and services.

• Collaborate with branch team members to provide the best client experience.

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client information and transaction records.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically five or more years of job‑related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
  • Background and credit check compliance with NMLS requirements.
  • At least 2 hours of driving per week.

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Effective engagement and communication with clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of all retail products and services.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
  • Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Location:

    Branches in the Gilbert & Chandler area.
Location and Expectation

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days. The position typically covers branches in the Gilbert & Chandler area and requires at least 2 hours of driving per week.
