Job Title: Dietitian

Preferred Qualifications- Registered Dietitian with CDCES credential
- Experience in a critical access hospital
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) including assessments, nutrition care planning, counseling, and education.
- Create individualized meal plans for disease management and complication prevention.
- Modify patient profiles based on nutritional needs, food intolerances, and preferences.
- Support medical weight loss and diabetes management programs.
- Provide MNT for outpatients, including performing assessments, creating care plans, and follow‑up.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert overseeing MNT for complex and high‑risk patients.
- Perform quality assurance checks in the food service department.
- Develop and evaluate menus to meet nutritional needs.
- Provide in‑service education for food service personnel.
- Conduct training programs for nursing staff, medical staff, students, healthcare personnel, and the general public.
- Provide nutrition‑related presentations and information to the community.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to develop or update patient care plans.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university
- Completed a Didactic Program in Dietetics accredited by ACEND
- Current registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in planning regular and modified diets in a healthcare facility
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nutrition work experience with emphasis on medical nutrition therapy targeting chronic diseases and nutrition education throughout the life cycle
