Positions may be available in the following areas:
Emergency Room, Operating Room, Outpatient, Infusion, Maternal Child, and Transplant Services.
Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Primary Responsibilities- Communicates directly with patients and/or families either in person or on the phone to complete the registration process by collecting patient demographics, health information, and verifying insurance eligibility/benefits.
- Responds to patient and caregiver inquiries related to routine and sensitive topics always in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Utilizes computer systems to enter, access or verify patient data in real‑time ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Obtains all demographics and insurance information for patients upon check‑in.
- Answers billing questions.
- Delivers and creates patient estimates based on insurance benefits and collects co‑pays/deductibles.

Required Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
- 2+ years of experience in a Hospital, Physician office, or any medical patient‑facing setting.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer‑service position.
- Basic level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Basic proficiency in typing skills.
- Ability to be on feet for 95% of the shift.
- Ability to push a WOW (workstation on wheels).
- 1+ years of registration experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Working knowledge of insurance policies and procedures and patient care settings.
