Job Overview/Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and new graduates to work in a dynamic inpatient hospital environment using advanced imaging technology.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Primary Skills
: MRI scanning and imaging techniques. - Patient care and communication.
- Knowledge of MRI safety and protocols.
- Experience with GE MRI equipment.
- Secondary Skills (Good To Have):
Prior inpatient hospital experience. - Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- New York State License In Radiologic Technology (Preferred).
- Previous MRI Technologist experience (Preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting (Preferred).
- Experiential bonus commensurate with experience.
- New graduates eligible.
- Sign-on bonus for part-time and full-time shifts only. Per diems not eligible.
