Full Time Gilbert, AZ, US
Salary Range: $17.00 To $22.00 Hourly
OverviewDermatology practice seeking a dependable, friendly, professional medical assistant. This role involves active participation in patient care and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities- Charting, sending prescriptions, and completing prior authorizations
- Assisting with biopsies and cosmetic procedures
- Suture removals, performing phototherapy treatments, and assisting with ablative laser procedures and surgeries
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and contributing to a patient-centered care environment
- Dermatology experience is highly preferred but not required
- Medical assisting experience or medical assistant certification is mandatory
- Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA regulations is required
- Experience in Dermatology and with Modernizing Medicine (EMA) software is preferred
- Outstanding social skills and the ability to work as part of a team
