** This position works a variable schedule with
** 8-10-hour shifts**. The shifts will be
** 7:00AM–8:00PM Monday through Friday
** and
** 8:00AM–6:00PM on weekends**. Specific shifts and days worked will vary based on departmental needs.
** Hire On Incentive up to $2,500 available. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable. Recruiter to provide these details during the interview process.

Clinical Pharmacy Services is responsible for the management of the Banner formulary, development of standardized system wide clinical pharmacy services, and management of adverse drug event preventions.

Clinical Pharmacy Services provides collaborative drug therapy management and educational interventions in patient care to optimize medication therapy, improve outcomes, promote wellness, and disease prevention. POSITION SUMMARY  This position will prepare, dispense, and compound medication under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide prescription support services for patients to ensure safe, appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of medication therapy. Provide excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, strong problem solving, documentation and computer skills. Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support pharmaceutical care activities, complete pharmacy billing activities, record keeping, reporting, inventory management, and arrange appropriate medication delivery.
CORE FUNCTIONS  
1. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, review and interpret prescriptions.
2. Prepare and dispense appropriate amount of medication under supervision of a pharmacist. Deliver medications accurately to the patient.
3. Answer phones, accept prescriptions, and may communicate with patients in waiting area.
4. Assist with inventory, maintain a clean work environment, and assist with any other administrative duties as assigned by supervising pharmacists or senior technicians.
5. Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and perform other work assignments    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
