• Join a dynamic healthcare team focused on patient care and safety.
• Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages and hospital staff.
• Collaborate with Physicians on medication management, including drug selection and dosing regimens.
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medications and potential side effects.
• Lead Medication Safety initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Manage patient profiles and oversee the avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reactions.
• Contribute to the preparation of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements.
• Maintain narcotic accountability to comply with state/federal and DEA regulations.
• Work in a clean, smoke-free environment with an engaging and supportive team.
• Operate independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and projects.
• Handle occasional irregular hours and respond to various inquiries in a high-pressure environment.

• Current Arizona Pharmacist License
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient acute hospital experience
• Sterile compounding experience

• Board Certified and/or completion of an accredited pharmacy residency
