Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC- SLP)
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Proficient in developing individualized treatment programs and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
