Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Active, valid Physical Therapy license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP goals and documentation requirements
• Ability to effectively assess, plan, and provide therapy for elementary-aged students
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for children of all abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted physical therapy services to elementary students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers to support student success in and out of the classroom
• Adapt interventions to meet the varied needs of students within a school-based setting
