Overview

Home Matters Caregiving East Valley is seeking compassionate, reliable On-Call Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care for seniors in our community. This position is ideal for caregivers with a flexible schedule who can respond to client care needs with just a few hours' notice.

As an On-Call Caregiver, you'll be expected to:

• Respond promptly to last-minute or same-day assignments.
• Travel to clients' homes in the East Valley within a few hours of being contacted.
• Provide quality care, including assistance with daily activities, personal hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Communicate any changes in clients' health or needs to our care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Support clients with mobility needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in home health care in caregiving.
• Experience in cooking and meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs is beneficial.
• A compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills is essential for building trust with clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
