Eden Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time capacity. This remote role allows you to conduct therapy sessions and assess client needs in a supportive and flexible outpatient setting. This position will primarily be remote, promoting a flexible work-life balance for you while ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective treatment. Our outpatient office serves as a supportive hub, equipped with the latest technology and resources that facilitate effective virtual therapy sessions. You will have access to our comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) system, enhancing your ability to manage client information efficiently and stay connected with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Client Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their mental health status and identify treatment needs.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing clients with coping strategies and tools to overcome their challenges.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure a comprehensive continuum of care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of client sessions and treatment progress in our electronic health record system.
Our center caters to a diverse clientele, including individuals facing issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, requiring a high level of cultural competence and a commitment to providing inclusive care. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to suit individual needs will be vital in fostering meaningful patient relationships and improvements in mental health outcomes.
Qualifications- A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Arizona.
- A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and mental health disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for building rapport with a wide range of clients.
- Proven success in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Experience with crisis intervention and management, demonstrating calmness in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with evidence-based methodologies and culturally responsive therapeutic practices.
