A well-established, growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy is seeking a hands-on Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a direct hire position. This role requires a pharmacist ready to actively engage in dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance to support the pharmacy’s expansion, particularly on the West Coast.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide thorough patient counseling.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure standard operating procedures (SOP), USP standards, and FDA 503A compliance are maintained.
- Manage inventory, including controlled substances, and maintain all required documentation.
- Address patient inquiries with professionalism and high customer service standards.
- Oversee regulatory compliance across states serviced by the pharmacy.
- Pharmacist licensed in Arizona or New Jersey (depending on location).
- 3–5 years of total pharmacy experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy backgrounds.
- Comfortable functioning in a working PIC role.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations governing 503A pharmacies.
- Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience preferred.
- Experience with Pioneer Rx is a plus, though training is offered.
- West Coast licensure (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) is highly preferred to support national expansion.

Schedule- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Some weekend coverage may be required as the pharmacy grows.
This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation ranging from approximately $68–$75 per hour depending on experience. Interviews will begin the week of 8/24, conducted virtually with the HR Manager and leadership.
