- Verify prescriptions and conduct drug utilization reviews for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Review Prior Authorization requests and transfer patient prescriptions
- Deliver and execute new and ongoing pharmacy projects and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, HIPAA standards, and pharmacy law
- Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure patient safety and seamless workflows
- Improve patient medication adherence and health outcomes
- Own pharmacy operations and meet productivity, efficiency, and accuracy expectations
- Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities
- Perform or assist the Pharmacist-in-Charge with operational tasks
- Participate in meetings and work groups to address issues, obtain approvals, and stay current with industry developments
- RPh required;
PharmD strongly preferred - Licensed pharmacist in OH or AZ, depending on the physical location; applicants with multiple state licensure are preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist
- Experience in a start-up environment or managerial position highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Flexibility for opening and closing shifts
- Ability to work onsite in either Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ
- Compliance with HIPAA standards, pharmacy law, and state and federal regulations
Demonstrates expertise in verifying prescriptions, conducting drug utilization reviews, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards and pharmacy law. Proven ability to manage pharmacy operations while improving patient medication adherence and health outcomes.
