Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team at our Patient Service Center located at 2730 South Val Vista Drive, Suite 3-111, Gilbert, AZ 85296.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and rotating Saturdays; additional days/hours as needed
- Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors
- Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
- Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary
- Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner
- Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
- 3 or more years of experience in a coordinator or lead role
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Current or Prior Labcorp experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
We are currently seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Phlebotomists/Site Coordinators may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
