Location: Gilbert, AZ (Christ Greenfield – Gilbert Campus)
Reports To: Business Manager
Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month position
About the RoleChrist Greenfield is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
Responsibilities Human Resources- Manage and oversee the HR department, including planning, organizing, and controlling all activities
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and orientation sessions
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the Employee Policy Manual
- Manage employee relations, including grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure performance reviews are conducted per policy with appropriate documentation
- Provide employee support, including wellness programs and employee assistance initiatives
- Administer benefits programs (health, dental, vision, pension) and serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries
- Track vacation and PTO accrual, usage, and balances
- Maintain accurate employee records and files
- Process payroll regularly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Calculate wages, deductions, and with holdings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to leadership
- Stay informed about employment law changes and ensure company compliance
- Submit required government reports, including tax filings and compliance reports
- Assist with audits and internal reviews of HR and payroll processes
- Promote CG's collaborative culture as documented in the CG Culture Guide
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Successful completion of fingerprinting, background check, and drug testing
- Active membership at Christ Greenfield, or a willingness to pursue membership during the onboarding process, with ongoing involvement in CG ministries.
