We are seeking a detail-oriented CLM Administrator to manage and support our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform and related contract processes. This role partners closely with the Legal Department and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the CLM system is effectively configured, maintained, and optimized to support commercial contracting activities. The ideal candidate brings CLM administration experience along with prior exposure to an in-house Law Department.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary administrator for the company’s CLM platform
- Configure and maintain CLM workflows, templates, clause libraries, user permissions, and approval routing
- Support the Legal Department with contract intake, tracking, execution, reporting, and system troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate contract data, metadata, and system records
- Manage system enhancements, updates, and process improvements in partnership with Legal and IT
- Develop and maintain CLM documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures
- Train and support internal users on CLM processes and best practices
- Generate reports and dashboards related to contract status, volume, cycle times, and renewals
- Ensure CLM processes align with legal, compliance, and internal policy requirements
- Act as a liaison between Legal, Procurement, Sales, and other business teams regarding CLM usage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Prior experience administering a CLM system required
- Experience working with a corporate Law Department strongly preferred
- Familiarity with commercial contracts and contracting workflows
- Experience with CLM platforms such as Ironclad, Icertis, Agiloft, Coupa, or similar systems
- Strong technical aptitude with legal technology tools
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Paralegal or legal operations background
- Experience supporting in-house counsel and legal operations initiatives
- Exposure to contract data analytics and reporting
- Experience collaborating with IT or systems teams
