Digital Experience Lead - Limited Term Agreement (LTA)
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Experience Lead who is innovative, self‑motivated, and passionate about empowering others through technology. This role focuses on providing best‑in‑class service to citizens while fostering professional growth in an innovative work environment.
Responsibilities- Creating, editing, and publishing a recurring internal IT newsletter to share updates, initiatives, and success stories.
- Drafting and maintaining IT communication policies and guidelines in collaboration with IT leadership and HR.
- Coordinating interdepartmental communications to ensure consistent messaging and timely updates on IT initiatives, outages, and changes.
- Designing and delivering IT and technology‑related training programs tailored to various departments and user skill levels.
- Facilitating live and virtual training sessions and creating self‑paced learning resources (e.g., videos, guides, FAQs).
- Evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Working closely with IT teams, HR, and department leads to align communication and training efforts with organizational goals.
- Supporting change management initiatives by preparing communication and training materials for new system rollouts or upgrades.
- Maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles to support end‑user self‑service.
- The position is a benefitted, Limited Term Agreement and is funded through June 30, 2027, and may be eligible for renewal based on need and performance.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Technology, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in internal communications, training development, or IT support.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with communication tools (SharePoint, Teams, M365, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, email platforms) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly content.
- 5 years of experience in IT communications, technology training development, or IT user enablement.
- 3 years of instructional design and training delivery experience.
- 3 years of experience supporting Enterprise applications or IT service delivery.
- 3 years of business process analysis and change management experience.
- Proven experience developing and managing multi‑channel communication strategies.
- Demonstrated experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content management platforms.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and strong skills in internal communication, training and enablement, and collaboration and support.
This is an at‑will position and is FLSA exempt— ineligible for overtime compensation. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the opportunity for hybrid work.
