- Analyze business systems, workflows, and data structures to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Gather, define, and translate business requirements into reporting, data models, and system enhancements
- Design, develop, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards and reports
- Standardize and enhance existing reporting environments
- Pressure test data, dashboards, and reporting outputs for accuracy, reliability, and usability
- Develop understanding of firm operations, including project life cycles, financial performance, labor planning, and resource management
- Collaborate with Marketing, Research, Finance, HR, Project Management, Operations, and other business teams
- Produce and maintain management dashboards, operational reports, and system performance metrics
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI and automation
- Serve as the firm's subject matter expert and functional administrator for Deltek Vantagepoint
- Configure and maintain Vantagepoint workflows, fields, security, dashboards, reports, and system settings
- Support project setup, client and CRM data, billing, resource planning, labor planning, and financial reporting within Vantagepoint
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide advanced user support
- Lead testing, upgrades, implementations, and rollout of new Vantagepoint functionality and enhancements
- Develop user documentation, deliver training, and promote consistent system adoption and best practices
- Ensure Vantagepoint data integrity, consistency, and governance, including integration with Power BI
- 5–10 years of experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, or a related role
- Experience with in an Architecture / AEC firm
- Advanced experience administering or supporting Deltek Vantagepoint within an architecture, engineering, or professional services environment, including system configuration, reporting, workflow optimization, and user support
- Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development and data modeling
- Experience analyzing, organizing, and validating data to support business decisions
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to translate business needs into data, reporting, and system solutions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Demonstrates expertise in business systems analysis and data analytics, with a strong focus on Deltek Vantagepoint administration and Power BI dashboard development. Capable of translating business requirements into effective reporting and system solutions while ensuring data integrity and governance.
