MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT - PROJECTS

In compliance with transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $95,000 - $171,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and other factors.

Position

Summary

Coordinate and provide oversight for implementation activities associated with managed tasks and modified managed tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for performing work in accordance with the Company's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct
  • Ensure that all work activities are properly planned, reviewed, and that effective look‑ahead, package reviews, and work status are completed.
  • Interface with the Implementation Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and craft supervisors.
  • Support the organization to meet site programmatic requirements such as PIP, self‑assessments, job observations, training, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in implementation of mechanical, piping, welding and structural / civil modifications in an operating nuclear station.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Able to multi‑task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a project team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of the Work Management process.
  • Able to obtain and maintain clearance for unescorted access.
Experience Required
  • Previous experience in supervising and managing large construction / maintenance implementation activities.
  • Experience in providing oversight for managed task contractors on large construction projects.
  • Experience in providing oversight for craft supervisors and technicians.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in project implementation.

  • Climbing (e.g., ascending/descending stairs, ladders, using feet and legs or hands/arms to climb)
  • Hearing
  • Talking, with capacity to express thoughts orally (e.g., accurately and quickly convey spoken instruction to workers)
  • Capacity to think, concentrate and focus over long periods of time
  • Ability to read and write complex documents in the English language
  • Capacity to reason and make sound decisions
  • Ability to wear a mask, respirator, high visibility vest, or other equipment
  • Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company's office or work site
  • Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
  • Ability to successfully complete all elements required to obtain and maintain unescorted access to Client facilities/plants (background screening, drug/alcohol screening, psychological screening, training, etc.)
