We are seeking a driven and experienced Mitigation Project Manager to lead field teams through the full lifecycle of restoration projects — from initial damage assessment to final documentation. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards, while providing exceptional customer service and coordinating closely with adjusters and internal teams.

Reporting to the Mitigation Manager
, the ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in water and fire damage restoration, strong estimating skills using Xactimate
, and a proven ability to manage teams in fast‑paced environments.

• Lead and oversee a team of mitigation technicians to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
• Perform on‑site assessments for water, fire, mold, and biohazard losses, determine the appropriate mitigation strategy, and implement IICRC‑compliant procedures.
• Accurately scope and estimate jobs using Xactimate software.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, insurance adjusters, and third‑party administrators throughout the life of the project.
• Monitor job progress, budgets, timelines, and documentation through platforms such as DASH or Encircle.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, drying techniques, containment, and PPE to ensure crew and jobsite safety.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections and maintain job files in accordance with SERVPRO standards.
• Provide mentorship and on‑the‑job training to field staff on mitigation practices and safety protocols.
• Support the transition of jobs from mitigation to reconstruction as needed.
• Remain available for occasional travel within the U.S. (approx. 3x per year) in support of storm deployments or large‑loss events.

• 2+ years of experience in mitigation and restoration services.
• 1+ year in a supervisory or management role within the restoration industry.
• Proficiency with Xactimate for estimating mitigation losses.
• Experience in water, fire, mold, and biohazard response.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of industry safety regulations and restoration standards.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT).
