Location can be Phoenix, AZ, Southern, CA or Las Vegas, NV

As a Division Safety Manager, you will ensure compliance with all Company and governmental safety and environmental health regulations. You will manage the planning, development, implementation, and administration of safety policies, programs, and training for assigned region(s).

• Protect employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents by directing, implementing, and overseeing safety and loss prevention programs
• Ensure safety compliance by overseeing OSHA, DOT, and other compliance-related activities
• Protect employees, customers, and assets by enforcing safe work practices
• Prevent accidents and safety exposures by investigating causes and developing preventive measures and practices
• Build successful business partnerships by communicating with corporate Safety department, customer safety managers, and regional management
• Meet safety and environmental health goals by developing and implementing training programs consistent with regulations and needs
• Mitigate risk exposure by identifying sources of safety and environmental risk and developing needed programs, policies, and procedures
• Other duties assigned as needed

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Safety and Health;
  Master’s degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years of professional-level safety-related experience
• Ability to persuasively communicate with all levels of management
• Strong training and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other operations applications
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and ANSI regulations, including CFR 1910, 1926, and related legislation
• Knowledge of FMCR’s as they relate to the rental industry
• Occupational Health-Safety and/or accredited professional certification preferred
