Manager, Underwriting Support

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight for the Underwriting Operations Team within the Management Liability unit
• Lead organizational change; develop and empower staff; cultivate relationships
• Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and ongoing feedback
• Oversees training and quality product output of account management staff
• Use metrics to monitor daily workloads, prioritize assignments, and ensure SLAs are met; investigate and resolve abnormalities
• Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as needed

• Associates degree required/Bachelors degree preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Substantial understanding and knowledge of Underwriting Support Processes and Procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work throughout the organization at different levels
• Solid technical background with hands‑on experience in rating and policy issuance platforms, as well as system testing
• Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings.
• Authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.
