Position Overview

The Manager, Regional Operations is responsible for the operational, financial, and talent performance of a portfolio of student housing communities within an assigned region. This role provides direct leadership, coaching, and accountability to Community Managers/Area Managers and other onsite leaders while driving occupancy, revenue growth, resident satisfaction, expense control, and overall asset performance. Through analysis of portfolio performance, market conditions, and operational trends, the Manager, Regional Operations develops and executes strategies that support business objectives and maximize asset value.

As a senior operational leader, the Manager, Regional Operations exercises independent judgment to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and solve complex operational challenges across the portfolio. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, financial performance, talent development, and execution of strategic initiatives while fostering a culture aligned with Core Spaces' values of Push, Grit, Shine, Lift, Grow, and Uphold.

  • Lead the operational and financial performance of an assigned portfolio of student housing communities.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee portfolio business plans to achieve occupancy, revenue, resident satisfaction, retention, and asset performance goals.
  • Evaluate portfolio performance metrics, market trends, competitive activity, and operational results to identify opportunities and implement strategies that improve performance.
