The Fountain Group is currently seeking a
Brake Press Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Gilbert, AZ
.

Details for the position are as follows:

Payrate: $20-25/hr W2

Shift hours:

• 1st: 4am – 2:30pm, Mon – Thurs
• 2nd: 2:30pm – 1am, Mon – Thurs
• 3rd: 5am – 5:30pm, Fri – Sun

Job Description

Looking for Brake Press/Turret Machine Operators to facilitate the assembly and fabrication of products. This is a great role to learn new types of machines and grow your skillset!

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prior experience operating various machines (Client, Safan, Brake Press, SG, Plasma, Shear, Saw, Punch, Etc)
• Fabrication of piece parts as per schematic under supervision
• Assembly of piece parts into final product.
• Ability to read blueprints and program machine.
• Familiarize self with new projects and duties, and/or request training concerning new equipment.
• Organize department and maintain department cleanliness

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Prior experience operating various machines (Client, Safan, Brake Press, SG, Plasma, Shear, Saw, Punch, Etc)
• Minimum of 1-5+ years of relevant experience in machine and brake press operation (HM is fine with candidates who have more than 5+ years experience)
• Experience with Accupress or Safan Brake presses. Prima Turrets and Bystronic Lasers is a huge plus (not required though). As far as the Turrets there isn't any programming.
• Operators need to know sheet metal types and sizes.
• Need knowledge about turret punches and dies.
• Must be familiar with the different die clearances and tool changes in general.
• Brake press operators will have to program the brake press machines from a blueprint; so blueprint reading is a must for a brake press operator.
