The Role

Edco is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to own the full product development lifecycle for consumer hard goods, from concept through production and delivery. This is not a pure project management role. We are looking for someone who understands how products are actually made and who is comfortable working directly with overseas factories, samples, materials, packaging, and costs.

This is a replacement role and an opportunity to step into an established workflow with real ownership and accountability.

• Product Development & Design Execution
• Partner with Client Account Managers to confirm product specifications, requirements, and timelines
• Work directly with the internal design team, providing specs, examples, and feedback until customer approval is achieved
• Support early-stage “blue sky” concepts when needed

• Manage the full product and packaging sample process, including pre-production and top-of-production samples
• Coordinate packaging types based on branding, testing, protection, and transportation needs
• Work directly with packaging suppliers to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery

• Serve as the primary point of contact with overseas factories
• Initiate and manage product costing, including factory quotes and internal costing sheets
• Partner with Client Account Managers on cost negotiations when needed
• Ensure all approved costs, factory details, and documentation are accurately entered into client portals

• Act as a key liaison with clients on product specs, samples, costs, timelines, and updates
• Maintain accurate, timely updates in client portals, including artwork, sample images, factory details, and production status
• Manage regional communications related to new development, cost inquiries, and reorders

• Build and maintain detailed product timelines
• Track milestones to ensure deadlines, approvals, and deliveries are met
• Coordinate cross-functionally with design, operations, and account teams to keep projects moving efficiently

• Hands-on product development experience with consumer hard goods such as souvenirs, toys, magnets, keychains, accessories, or similar manufactured products
• Direct experience working with overseas factories and managing the sampling and production process
• Strong understanding of how products move from concept to production, not just how to track tasks
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail
• Clear, professional communicator who works well in a collaborative, in-office environment

Experience with theme park or licensed products is a plus, but not required.

This role is 100% onsite at Edco’s office in Gilbert, Arizona
