- Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
- Examine items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
- Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
- Inspect and measure items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
- Assist with identification and segregation of rejected products or materials; approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Skilled in the use of all types of measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
- Work from Engineering drawings/specs, Engineering change notices or established operating procedures.
- Experience in PC skills (Microsoft Office-Excel, Word).
- Minimum of 1 year in Aerospace Manufacturing environment.
- AS9100 or ISO
9001 Quality Management System knowledge - Solid Works Inspection software proficiency
- J-STD-001 Solder Workmanship
- IPC-A-620 Wire Harness Workmanship
