Work Schedule:

Onsite – Phoenix, AZ (on-site work in Gilbert, AZ)

• Assemble circuit card assemblies, top‑level avionics units, wire harnesses, and electrical ground support and test equipment.
• Perform high‑reliability soldering (through‑hole and surface‑mount) and crimping on complex sub‑assemblies, circuit cards, and avionics units, including board‑level repairs and jumper wire installations.
• Work with multi‑pin connectors and assemblies to meet stringent government and customer specifications.
• Set up and operate SMT pick and place machines and selective solder machines.
• Perform box‑level integration of circuit card assemblies into top‑level avionics units.
• Perform staking and coating operations on circuit card assemblies and top‑level avionics units.
• Interpret assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
• Follow ESD protocols and maintain certification standards for high‑reliability soldering.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineering to troubleshoot and rework avionics products.
• Maintain cleanliness and traceability documentation for controlled programs.

• High school diploma or equivalent formal training.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.
• Expertise in crimping, medical device assembly, board‑level repair, and electronic units.
• Familiarity with J‑STD, IPC 610/620 standards, and torque/crimping tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

• NASA soldering certification.
• Experience with avionics components (e.g., circuit card rework, coating, installation).
• Ability to read and work directly from engineering drawings.

Philns, AZ: $25.00–$35.00 hourly. (Base range is one component of the total compensation package.)
