Manufacturing Technician - Silent-Aire

Seeking Manufacturing technicians with minimum 3 years of experience!

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2pm-12:30am (Hours subject to change based on business demand.)

• Responsible for local delivery and execution of core manufacturing technician duties to vendors and managers in accordance with Johnson Controls principles, corporate policies and procedures, and plant operations.
• Perform a variety of employment related functions to enhance employee engagement, safety and health, productivity and ensure compliance with Company policies in a manufacturing facility.

• Read blueprints.
• Use power tools, drills, grinders, saws, and hand tools.
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to blueprints or drawings, using tape measures, straight edges, or squares, and marking devices.
• Bolts, screws, clips, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
• Clean and prepare assembly line.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to determine correct tools and equipment needed for a job.
• Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods and occasionally perform strenuous physical labor.
• Adherence to safety policies and use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g., safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection).

• 2+ years previous experience as an assembler, carpentry work, construction or home building.
• Manufacturing experience with sheet metal.
• Power tool experience in construction.
