Responsibilities
- Execute local delivery and core loading to vendors and managers within plant operations.
- Operate sit‑down forklift, mobile column lifts, and mobile entry cranes.
- Rotate product in and out of buildings for manufacturing accessibility and load trucks with correct equipment.
- Ensure loads are centered, properly loaded, and track manufacturing unit progress and ship dates.
- Problem‑solve and maintain alertness for changes, communicating with supervisor to fulfil building load outs.
- Multi‑task and prioritize daily schedules while maintaining a clean work area.
- Collaborate with other job families such as production to report timely movement of goods.
- Occasional pallet building and stacking of crates, pallets, lumber, or other material.
- Perform tasks that may expose to chemicals such as alcohol and paint thinners.
- Maintain the safe and efficient movement of finished product and other goods.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid US driver license.
- Must read and write; proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and web browsers.
- 2+ years of loading and unloading experience; FLT certifications and crane certifications preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving and good communication skills.
- Experience with safe practices, procedures, and overall processes.
- Must be able to work consistently on 2nd shift (2:00PM–12:30AM).
Work outdoors for long periods of time in all seasons and may work in tight spaces. Use of personal protective equipment required (hardhat, safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection, cut level 5 gloves, etc.). Noise levels can fluctuate from quiet to loud. Regularly work near moving parts and may be exposed to heat, dust, manufacturing environment noise, and heights. All employees must always wear required PPE while working.
