Assistant Production Manager - Night Shift

• Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions

• Planning of department/line staffing to match production schedule and daily business needs
• Collaborates and solves daily problems with cross functional partners across Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Warehouse
• Delivers on Production targets across safety, quality, and efficiency with the ability to demonstrate understanding for any gaps to plan
• Responsible for strong adherence to critical processes to support customer requirements and meeting daily production targets
• Support staffing of department through interviews and planning with HR department
• Owns training and development of shift leads, machine operators, and supporting functions
• Monitors production with a focus on process engineering and process improvement
• Supports the maintenance department regarding notification of technical defects and spare parts orders
• Responsible for execution of end of order requirements including material deviations
• Collaborates with Quality department in the implementation of quality policies and targets
• Implements and utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards
• Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence, promoting achievement of plant objectives
• Shift assignments may vary depending on operational needs, and the individual in this role may be required to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays
• In addition to regularly scheduled shift work, this position requires 24/7 on-call availability to support operations as needed

• 3-5 years of relevant beverage production or manufacturing production experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Business management system (SAP) experience
• 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience in beverage industry or manufacturing environment

• Works in a manufacturing environment
• This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
• Employees in this position must be able to appropriately wear the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, and a high‑visibility vest or reflective straps.
• Employees must be physically able to: talk, hear, read, reach with hands and arms, grasp, pick lift/push/pull/grip 25 pounds of force, stand/walk for hours, climb and descend stairs, have visual acuity sufficient to work at or within arm's reach
