Encapsulation Machine Operator

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Encapsulator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating encapsulation equipment, maintaining accurate production records, ensuring product quality, and supporting daily manufacturing operations in a fast‑paced environment.

• Set up, operate, and break down automatic Bosch encapsulators and semi‑automatic Schaefer/PAM encapsulating machines
• Ensure line clearance before beginning production runs
• Complete batch records accurately and thoroughly
• Verify capsule counts and weights are within batch record specifications
• Perform visual inspections of finished products and identify quality concerns
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues as they arise
• Dispose of scrap and damaged materials according to company procedures
• Follow all equipment, machinery, and departmental safety procedures
• Clean equipment before and after production runs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
• Maintain accurate cleaning and production logs following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and production schedules

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Experience using the metric system
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions accurately
• Legible handwriting and attention to detail

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
• Strong manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
