Shift 1:
Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Specific Accountabilities
- Measure and cut material with a mechanical saw.
- Ability to identify structural steel and alloy.
- Read and understand blueprints and/or drawings.
- Ability to lift and move materials to and from racks to equipment.
- Unloading products received and loading finished products for delivery.
- Other assigned work as required.
- This position requires shop work. When working in the shop, one must exercise caution as this environment presents many naturally occurring and potentially worker-produced hazards. Safety policies must always be adhered to. Appropriate personal protective equipment (i.e., safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and others) must always be worn where required.
- It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
- Appropriate credentials and certifications.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Ability to work shift work.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- Additionally, Saw Operator will be required to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions.
- Mechanical saw operation experience.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).
- Follow all safety policies and protocols.

- 2 years experience as a hem saw operator.
- Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes.

- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in diverse working environments.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- Computer literate.
