is a fast‑growing custom print and apparel shop specializing in vinyl decals, screen printing, embroidery, and digital print services. We’re looking for a dependable, detail‑driven Embroidery Production Specialist to join our team and help deliver high‑quality stitched products for our customers.

Position Overview

The Embroidery Production Specialist is responsible for preparing artwork, running embroidery machines, maintaining equipment, and ensuring every stitch meets our quality standards. This role also supports other departments—vinyl, decals, print, and art—during slower embroidery periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up customer artwork for embroidery
  • Convert files into stitch‑ready formats (digitized files provided when needed)
  • Hoop garments and materials accurately and consistently
  • Operate multi‑needle embroidery machines
  • Thread, rethread, and maintain machine tension and settings
  • Monitor stitch quality and troubleshoot issues (thread breaks, puckering, misalignment)
  • Trim, clean, and finish embroidered garments
  • Maintain a clean, organized embroidery workspace
  • Track and maintain supplies (thread, bobbins, backing, needles, etc.)
  • Complete orders accurately and on schedule
Cross‑Department Support
  • Assist vinyl department with weeding, masking, trimming during downtime
  • Help decal, print, and art departments as needed
  • Support overall shop workflow to keep production moving smoothly
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
  • Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs (boxes, garments, materials)
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high‑quality work
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established production processes
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience operating commercial embroidery machines
  • Knowledge of hooping techniques, stabilizers, and thread types
  • Familiarity with embroidery file formats and basic digitizing concepts
  • Experience in a print shop, apparel shop, or similar production environment
  • Basic Adobe Illustrator or design software knowledge is a plus
