Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to improve and optimize production processes
- Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Lathe machines
- Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred - Experience with Mazak and/or Nakamura machines preferred
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
