A day in this role
When the shop lights come on, you’re the steady hand that transforms good parts into great ones. You’ll start your morning reviewing traveler packets, planning tools for each operation, and prioritizing throughput to meet production targets. As parts roll in, you’ll break edges, smooth surfaces, and hold tight tolerances without oversizing. Midday might find you moving between a sandblast cabinet, a tumble machine, and a bench station—measuring, documenting, and scribing as you go.
By day’s end, your workspace is clean, counts are accurate, and every part is safe to handle and ready for the next operation.
