Position Summary:
Shop Fabricator and Assembler positions receive hands-on training on assembly, glazing, packaging, parts pulling, fabrication and caulking. No experience required, however proficiency with hand toolsis recommended. We are a LEAN Manufacturing company, that employs LEAN thinkers. All employees participate in continuous improvement, by determining the safest, simplest, fastest way to complete processes, while meeting or exceeding quality requirements.
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift (5:00am-1:30pm)
- 2nd Shift (1:00pm-9:30pm)
Qualifications:
- Experience - seeking all levels, from no prior experience to Shop Operations Management experience in the glass and glazing industry.
- Skills - problem solving, adaptability, innovation, leadership, self-motivation, quality focused, safety minded.
- Abilities - understand units of measure, perform basic math equations, read and use a tape measure, power tools and lift 75 lbs.
- Preferred (not required) – LEAN Manufacturing knowledge, first-aid, forklift certification, CNC programming, ability to read fabrication/shop drawings.
