We are seeking a driven and creative Marketing Specialist to join a high-performing, fast-paced marketing team within the A/E/C industry. This role directly supports company growth by developing winning proposals, compelling marketing content, and impactful interview strategies that drive project backlog and revenue. The position is ideal for a well-rounded marketing professional who enjoys blending strategy, storytelling, design, and collaboration to produce high-quality, results-driven deliverables.

Responsibilities

+ Partner with internal teams to develop high-impact proposals, presentations, and pursuit materials that align with client requirements and company branding.

+ Analyze RFP and RFQ documents to ensure submissions are compliant, tailored, and competitive.

+ Create visually engaging content, including graphics, layouts, and templates, to elevate the quality of proposals and marketing materials.

+ Coordinate across teams to gather resumes, project data, and technical content required for proposals and marketing collateral.

+ Maintain and organize marketing assets such as resumes, project sheets, photos, and past proposals to enable efficient reuse.

+ Support social media strategy, including content development and scheduling, to strengthen brand visibility and engagement.

+ Assist with website updates to ensure content remains current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.

+ Support the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, and company milestones.

+ Contribute to award submittals and marketing campaigns that highlight company achievements and capabilities.

+ Develop clear, consistent, and on-brand messaging across all marketing platforms and materials.

+ Collaborate with project teams to identify and showcase project wins, success stories, and differentiators.

+ Participate in brainstorming sessions and pursuit strategy development to enhance win rates and marketing effectiveness.

+ Research industry trends, competitors, and tools to inform marketing strategies and drive innovation.

+ Support internal initiatives that promote employee engagement and strengthen company culture.

+ Provide flexible support across the marketing team as business needs evolve, taking on a variety of tasks and projects as required.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 6+ years of experience in marketing, proposals, or graphic design, ideally within the A/E/C (architecture, engineering, construction) industry.

+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

+ Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and error-free content.

+ Strong design capabilities with a keen eye for detail, layout, and brand consistency.

+ High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and disciplines.

+ Working knowledge of modern marketing techniques, including digital campaigns and social media.

+ Experience supporting marketing strategy, marketing campaigns, and advertising initiatives.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

+

Experience with tools such as Canva, Prezi, or video editing software is a plus.

+ Exposure to social media management, including content planning and performance tracking, is preferred.

+ Exposure to website administration and content management systems is preferred.

+ Experience working in or with construction or A/E/C-focused teams is beneficial.

+ Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for professional brand presence.

+ Ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling marketing content.

+ Comfort working on a small, collaborative marketing and proposal team.

Work Environment

This role is 100% office-based and operates within a small, collaborative team that includes proposal writers, marketing specialists, and construction professionals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment that values creativity, initiative, and high-quality work. Standard working hours are approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with reasonable accommodations considered.
