About Attainable Housing Advocates (AHA)
AHA is dedicated to making home and energy ownership attainable and sustainable. Through initiatives like the Hope for Home ownership Research Project
, we assist home buyers with closing costs, provide meaningful education, and leverage financial tools to increase long-term affordability.
The Regional Director will lead AHA’s efforts within a designated geographic area, overseeing strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution. This individual will play a key role in expanding AHA’s impact, ensuring regional initiatives align with the organization’s broader mission and goals.
Strategic Leadership & Regional Expansion- Develop and implement regional strategies to drive AHA’s mission and objectives.
- Identify new partnership opportunities with local governments, housing authorities, financial institutions, and community organizations.
- Oversee program execution, ensuring initiatives are impactful and sustainable.
- Represent AHA at regional events, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders.
- Advocate for policies that support attainable home ownership and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with state and local officials to secure funding and policy support.
- Manage regional staff, setting performance goals and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Ensure regional programs are effectively executed and aligned with AHA’s national strategy.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation within the region.
- Enhance public awareness of AHA’s initiatives through outreach and engagement efforts.
- Support local communities by ensuring program accessibility and effectiveness.
- Gather and analyze regional data to measure impact and improve service delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in housing, nonprofit management, or economic development.
- Strong track record of building partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, and community organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-functional teams and regional operations.
- Experience in policy advocacy, fundraising, and program development is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong public speaking and relationship-building abilities.
- Financial management and budgeting expertise.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with broader organizational goals.
- Passion for housing affordability and economic empowerment.
- Be a key driver in making home ownership more attainable and sustainable.
- Lead impactful programs that create real change in communities.
