As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectable medications as ordered, and provide appropriate patient education
- Start and discontinue IV for infusion therapies
- Access PIV & Ports
- Prepare and administer medication (mixing)
- Travel to other locations on occasion
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance care delivery, offering suggestions and assistance toward continuous quality improvement of patient care
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards in patient care delivery
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of and comply with all policies and procedures related to job duties
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience
- Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
- Clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
- Eager to learn and grow with our rapidly expanding organization
- Ability to collaborate with others and provide outstanding customer service
- Current nursing license for applicable state
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
