Job Overview

The clinical services manager supports clinics by ensuring safety readiness, coaching staff, and overseeing clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting audits, facilitating quality improvement initiatives, and driving accountability across facilities.

• Support clinics through immediate response to adverse events and CMS surveys, completing safety snapshots and coaching teams on quality improvement plans.
• Provide onsite support for CMS surveys and other regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
• Conduct deep‑dive coaching and up‑skilling sessions with clinic team members, focusing on clinical drivers such as hospitalizations and patient safety concerns.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings, providing coaching to struggling teams and visiting facilities in person as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to align on priority clinics not meeting goals and remove barriers to performance improvement through root‑cause analysis and coaching.
• Provide clinical outlier support by focusing on hospitalizations, quality, and leveraging support from various clinical roles.

• RN license and related education.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology experience (3 years preferred).
• Experience leading clinical functions or managing nurses.
• Experience in teaching adult learning with ability to communicate technical/medical information in lay terms.
• Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet use.

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated field.
• Experience in CQI methodology and techniques.
• Basic understanding of state and federal regulations and requirements.

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.
• Current CPR certification.
• CNN or CSN, Bonet certification within 2 years of employment (preferred).

• Regional travel up to 75% of the time.
• Availability for evening and weekend work as needed.
• On‑site presence in facilities 3–4 days per week.

• Fluent in written and verbal communication needed to perform essential functions.
• Ability to lift 5–50 lbs unassisted and perform required physical tasks.
